Jogo do Silêncio

JOGO DO SILÊNCIO is a completely original work and unlike anything that Edinho Santa Cruz has done. The idea came from the desire to mark his 54-year career, showing some of his instrumental compositions, inspired by his own history and by the great masters of Brazilian music, such as Villa-Lobos, Zequinha de Abreu, Dilermando Reis, Pixinguinha, Luiz Bonfá, and Tom Jobim.

The DVD recording concert happened at Teatro Alfa, in São Paulo, with artistic direction by Del Rangel and musical direction by Jether Garotti.

In order to carry out the project, the artist invites the Heliopolis Symphony Orchestra, by the Baccarelli Institute, made up of 70 musicians from the Heliopolis community, under the baton of Maestro Edilson Venturelli Souza.
